 Art Streaming Websites

Streaming is one of the best ways an Artist can get out there, shows their skills and talk to people who like their art.

Sometimes an artist will have a microphone to speak to those who come to the stream to watch them do some art.

Many artists enjoy streaming just for the fact they can speak to those who enjoy viewing their art. Most artists I know tend to stream frequently, because not only does it let the people who like your art get to know you but it also grabs the attention of those who might not know who you are yet.

The website I use for streaming art is Picarto. This one is actually new and is for just art only.

Picarto.TV: This streaming website here is the only known one out there so far that is just for art. It runs smoothly depending on your settings that you set up. Not only that but you can personalize your very own channel page that fits your taste. You have a chat bar at the side so you can view and talk back to those that would be watching you stream. I personally like it because not only can they hear you speaking but they can also hear your music is you desire to have sound on. You can set up links to websites you are on such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. Personally it is one of the best streaming websites for art out there to date. It allows you to follow other artists so you can be informed of when that artist comes online to stream.

Livestream: I am pretty sure you would have heard of this one. It is the most common one out there people use. However it is good and easy to use it can cause some problems. I only used this website once and personally it is not the best one out there. It lagged too much for my liking.

Twitch: You should not stream your art on Twitch, it is only for gaming, however others seem to ignore this and stream there anyway. I do not recommend this for you can cause trouble for yourself and that isn't fair to stream something on the website that is only for gaming.

Join.Me: Join me is good for those of you starting off small. You are given a limited amount of people to join which I think is ten if I do remember correctly. I used this for awhile until I joined Picarto.TV. It is a good one if you just want to do a private one with your friends, however you cannot be heard or anything. You can pause the sharing screen so others cannot see what you are doing for awhile. Like I said Iit’s great for starting out when it comes to streaming.

Youtube: This one was obviously going to be put up here. It is not the best, for it tends to lag a ton and from what I have heard and seen it takes too long to do. I haven't used it, but you must have seen from at least other people live streaming that is very laggy and gets fuzzy at times. If you desire you may use this to stream, but it won't really help you much.
